Question:
Is it okay for the media to run pieces that reflect negatively on the children of political figures? What, or who should be off-limits?

I really don't think the media should reflect negatively on the children and/or families of politial figures. The media has a way of destroying people and their lives--and they need to STOP! I mean, for all those nosey folk that love gossip, or stare at their co-worker's computer screen, they may like all of that negativity; however, real people want the issues on the forefront! What can this politician do to help our people, etc? Politicians are set to do a job,and as long as that job is being fulfilled, put the rating boosters to rest!
